Are you looking to share your passion for music and experience the pure joy of singing? Then the Asheville Senior Chorus is perfect for you!
We’re a vibrant and welcoming community chorus that meets every week at UNC-Asheville. Led by our fantastic director, Chuck Taft, we bring people together through music, creating strong bonds.
All you need is a love for singing and a willingness to enjoy the experience. You’ll feel right at home with us!
We dive into all kinds of music—from classical to rock, pop, show tunes, folk, country, jazz, and blues—everything from Bach to the Beatles.
We’re more than a chorus. Connect with people, forge lasting friendships, and be an active, creative part of the Asheville community.
Singing is incredibly good for you! It enriches your emotional, mental, and physical well-being, while lifting your mood, improving lung capacity, and boosting your vitality.
Come sing with us! We welcome new voices from all walks of life in the Asheville community—whether you’re retired or still working full-time.
We Can’t Wait to Sing with You and Celebrate Life with Joy and Laughter!
